Ph.D.

Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Morgane. I am a legal scholar specializing in issues of subsistence, trade, and development, with a strong passion for cultural diversity, sustainable agriculture, and responsible fisheries.
My research focuses on the legal dimensions of food security and the right to a healthy environment.
Committed to building a fairer and more resilient world, I dedicate my efforts to analyzing, mobilizing, and designing legal instruments—at local, national, regional, and international levels—to foster inclusive solutions and pathways of hope.
Through legal and empirical investigations in West Africa, French Polynesia, and North America, I have gained experience in interdisciplinary and field-based research. My ongoing dialogue with researchers, farmers, fishers, and food system workers continually enriches my thinking and inspires my work.
I am currently a postdoctoral fellow funded by the Fonds de recherche du Québec, affiliated with the Centre for Research on Regulation and Governance (CrRDG) at the Faculty of Law, Université de Sherbrooke.
This site is a space for sharing. Here, I present my research projects, publications, and consultancy activities in the fields of food security law, environmental law, international trade law, and international development law. You will also find resources for researchers, practitioners, students, and field actors.
Feel free to reach out if you would like to connect, collaborate, or simply learn more!
