I am fortunate to be welcomed in October-November 2025 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montpellier as a visiting postdoctoral researcher. I am contributing to the teaching team of the Master’s programme in environmental law, led by Professor Catherine Ribot, as well as the scientific team of CREAM ( Centre for Research and Administrative Studies of Montpellier) . This stay allows me to share with the students an expertise developed in Quebec, around international food security law.

In this context, I had the pleasure of offering, on October 24, 2025, a session entitled "The conservation and sustainable use of Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA)" in the International and European Environmental Law course taught by Professor Ribot. We worked on the legal status of plant genetic resources for food and agriculture: their definition, international obligations related to their conservation, access and benefit-sharing mechanisms, and the resulting global food security issues.

I would like to warmly thank Professor Ribot and the Master's students for their welcome, their questions, and the quality of the discussions. My warm thanks also go to Professor Depincé for his welcome to the Faculty of Law and Political Science in Montpellier.
