On Friday, August 29, 2025, I had the honor of being invited by the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme du Pacifique (MSHP) to lead a seminar dedicated to my research project, focusing on the rights of fishermen in French Polynesia. The event was held at the University of French Polynesia (UPF).

With great humility, I presented the first results of my research project, tracing the evolution of the regulatory frameworks governing fisheries in French Polynesia.

I then opened the discussion on several governance issues: the role of the institutions concerned, the place of coastal communities in resource management, as well as the need to make management tools more accessible and adapted to local realities.

This seminar was a privileged moment of exchange for me: the external perspectives gathered on my current work will contribute to enriching and refining it.

I warmly thank the MSHP for this invitation and for the opportunity to share a stage of my research journey at the heart of fisheries issues, food security and the governance of marine commons.
